Riders will board and exit on westbound track 2 towards Owings Mills at the Milford Mill station due to platform repairs. On Sunday April 21, 2024 between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., riders will board and exit on eastbound track 1 towards Johns Hopkins at the Milford Mill station due to platform repairs. Customers may experience a 5-10 minute delay and should plan their travel time accordingly. We appreciate your patience as we work to upgrade rail service. MARC Penn Line weekend service - schedule modifications for Amtrak trackwork
Amtrak continues to perform trackwork north of Union Station on weekends through April 28. MARC Penn Line weekend service may experience 10-15 minute delays between New Carrollton and Union Station since all trains in both directions will share one track between Union Station and New Carrollton. In addition, the following temporary modifications to weekend train schedules will be necessary: Northbound: --Train 486 (2:05pm Sunday departure from Union Station) will depart all stations two minutes EARLIER --Train 490 (4:30pm Saturday and Sunday departure from Union Station) will depart all stations eleven minutes EARLIER --Trains 492/692 and 494 (5:30pm Saturday and Sunday and 7:30pm Saturday departure from Union Station) will depart all stations five minutes later. --Train 696 (9:30pm departure from Union Station) will depart all stations five minutes EARLIER Southbound: --Train 675 (7:10am departure from Martin Airport/7:35am departure from Penn Station) will depart all stations five minutes later --Train 499 (9:15pm Saturday departure from Penn Station) will depart all stations ten minutes later. MARC Penn Line - Significant schedule change April 29
There will be a significant Penn Line schedule change on Monday, April 29. Upcoming Amtrak construction projects along the heavily-traveled Northeast Corridor between Baltimore and Washington, D.C. will impact MARC Penn Line service. Amtrak's planned construction work will require complete track closures from 11:15 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. and is expected to continue through November 2024. As a result, the following weekday MARC Penn Line schedule changes will be necessary: Morning service to Washington Union Station --Train 401 (4:15am departure from Baltimore to Washington) will not operate. --Train 403 (4:40am departure from Baltimore to Washington) will operate 20 minutes later. Late evening service, Monday-Thursday --Train 453 (9:35pm departure from Baltimore to Washington) will depart 50 minutes earlier at 8:45pm and be renumbered to Train 455. --Train 452 (10:55pm departure from Washington to Baltimore) will depart 50 minutes earlier at 10:05pm and be renumbered to Train 454. Late evening service, Fridays --Trains 453 and 452 will maintain their current schedules on Fridays only. There are additional schedule changes to other trains.
