Camden Line Train 856 (dpt Union 5:58p) is cancelled for this afternoon's service due to the necessary cancellation of train 849 this morning. Passengers can be accommodated by MARC train 852, scheduled to depart Union Station at 4:43pm or MARC Train 856, scheduled to depart Union Station at 6:55pm.

Reminder - MARC Camden and Brunswick Lines - R Schedule on Monday February 23
MARC Train will operate on the R schedule on the Camden and Brunswick Lines today. Amtrak has notified MARC Train that the winter storm has significantly impacted Washington Union Station and Amtrak's operation between Washington and New York, which will severely limit MARC's ability to operate into Union Station today. The R schedule is the greatest level of service that Amtrak can safely and reliably support. Only trains with an R under the train number in the Camden Line timetables and in the R schedule grid on the right side of the Brunswick Line timetable will operate. Brunswick Line passengers should note that the R schedule now consists of morning Trains 872, 892, 878 and 880 and afternoon Trains 875, 877, 893 and 881. Frederick Transit bus service will operate; Meet the MARC service from Point of Rocks to Monocacy and Frederick will meet Train 878 in the morning and Train 875 in the evening only. Please adhere to the following for travel in winter weather: --Allow ample time to drive to the station, park your car, and WALK -- do not run -- to the train platform --We strongly encourage passengers to wear shoes appropriate for winter weather. Dress shoes and heels are strongly discouraged. --MARC Facilities staff will be out treating platforms and parking lots, but some spots may be slippery. WALK slowly and take your time. --When boarding your train, use handrails to walk through wet or slushy areas. Despite treatment and cleaning, train stairs and floors can be slippery. MARC Train will operate a Saturday schedule on the Penn Line on Monday, February 22, with all trains originating and terminating at Penn Station.
