Camden Line Train 856 (5:58 dpt Wash) is operating with a 15-20 minute delay due to heat related speed restrictions and CSX signal issues near Savage Station. Further delays are expected as we temporarily operate at restricted speeds thru the signal issues. Updates to follow.

MARC Camden and Brunswick Line Heat Orders
CSX has issued heat-related speed restrictions on the Camden and Brunswick Lines for this afternoon. Trains will travel at reduced speed on both lines. 5-15 minute delays are possible--the fewer stops a train makes, the more delay it will incur (since express trains operate longer distances at a higher rate of speed). For passengers unfamiliar with heat-related speed restrictions, a full explanation is available at www.mta.maryland.gov/marc-heat-orders .

Metro SubwayLink Station Service Advisory - Penn North Station
Beginning on Saturday July 31, 2021 at 5:00 a.m. until Tuesday November 30, 2021 at 5:00 a.m. the Penn-North Metro Station, North Avenue entrance will be closed due to scheduled escalator maintenance. Riders should plan to use the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance to access the station. We regret any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to upgrade service to Penn-North Metro station.

MARC Train - Face covering requirements are still in effect
To reduce the spread of COVID-19 and to protect our customers and team members, all riders using public transit including MARC Train, MTA local bus, light rail, metro subway, commuter bus, and Mobility/para-transit service are REQUIRED to wear face coverings. Riders must keep the face covering on for the entire duration of the trip. The face covering requirement applies for all passengers, vaccinated or unvaccinated. This action supports the United States Transportation Security Administration's Security Directive 1582/84-21-01, which is currently effective until September 13, 2021. Amtrak reports the elevators at BWI Station are temporarily out of service. Passengers that require elevators to utilize train service at BWI should use Odenton or Halethorpe Stations until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience.
